Dr. Nicholas Birchall MB, ChB, FRACP
Dr Birchall graduated from Bristol University in the UK and then immigrated to New Zealand in 1978. He trained initially as a paediatrician, then as a dermatologist. Dr Birchall completed his dermatology training at Yale University, USA. His special interest is the treatment of paediatric and adolescent skin problems, in particular, acne and eczema. Dr Birchall is a visiting Dermatologist at Starship Children's Hospital and Northland Base Hospital, Whangarei. He also regularly visits Whangarei for private consultations in his satellite practice.

Dr. Sonya Havill MB, ChB, FRACP
Dr Havill studied at Auckland and received her advanced training at Southern General Hospital, Glasgow and Concord Hospital, Sydney. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and specialises in women's dermatology.

Dr. Steven Lamb MB, ChB, FRACP
Dr Lamb graduated from Auckland University in 1993. His postgraduate training in dermatology was undertaken at Waikato Hospital and Auckland Hospital before training at Leeds General Infirmary, United Kingdom and completing his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2002. Dr Lamb is a specialist Dermatologist and divides his time between Greenlane Clinical Centre and Auckland Dermatology. He is also the visiting Dermatologist for Auckland University Health services. His interests include the management of skin cancer, skin cancer surgery, immunology and eczema, and patch testing.

Diana Purvis MB, ChB, FRACP (Paeds), FRACP (Derm)
Dr Purvis was trained in New Zealand and the UK, with two years specialising in paediatric dermatology at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London. As well as her expertise in children's skin diseases and birthmarks, she is also proficient in adult skin problems including neo-natal and pregnancy-associated skin disorders. She is involved with both the Starship Children's Hospital and teaches at the University of Auckland Medical School.

Susan Devonshire R.N. Cosmetic Therapist
Susan is a Registered Nurse who has been involved in appearance medicine for more than 15 years and is one of NZ's most experienced dermal filler and botox therapists. She is also our V-Beam Pulsed Dye laser clinician.

A qualified beauty therapist, Susan manages our laser hair removal clinic and also provides electrolysis treatments.

Louise Griffiths
Recently arrived from the UK. Louise has a background in beauty therapy and medical administration, and is the person who will greet you on your arrival at Auckland Dermatology.

Brenda Bhagwanji
Brenda is the newest member of our team and joins us from a varied background ranging from icecream marketing to telecommunications to chiropractic. She is also a qualified yoga teacher. Brenda organises our Whangarei clinic bookings as well as front desk duties in Auckland.

Michelle Flint
Michelle has been with Auckland Dermatology for more than 10 years and currently manages the practice. She, Brenda and Louise are your first point of contact at Auckland Dermatology.
