Laser hair removal

Laser epilation is the most effective treatment for the removal of unwanted facial and body hair.

Our laser emits energy at a specific wavelength and energy level to irreversibly damage, remove and prevent the regrowth of unwanted hair. The laser energy is selectively absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft which is heated, resulting in destruction of the hair follicle.

The cost of the treatment depends on the site of the problem and the density of hair. The most difficult problems are usually treated in 5-6 sessions. Laser epilation is more cost-effective than most other methods of semi-permanent hair removal and is overall better than other treatments requiring regular maintenance.

Laser hair removal is best suited to those with fairer skin and darker hair. It is not effective on grey or blonde hair. However, these hairs can be removed successfully and safely with electrolysis. Our therapist is trained in both laser hair removal and electrolysis.
