Vibrational qualities of shape and colour come together in my work; corresponding to the connection between the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of the human body. I’m drawn to the concept of creation and nature, beginnings and endings, human biological growth, and organic growth. The intention is to depict themes subtly within abstract landscapes, bringing together forms from the natural world into the controlled state of the picture plane, a place where organic patterns of the conscious and subconscious come to rest. Janna is currently completing a BVA at AUT.
