Dr Nick Turnbull

MB ChB 2002 Auckland; FRACP 2013

Originally from Auckland and having graduated from Auckland Medical School in 2002, Dr Turnbull has worked in all the major public hospitals in Auckland in various medical and surgical roles including subspecialty positions in pharmacology, cardiology and rheumatology amongst others. This training developed his interest in hospital and academic medicine. His dermatology training was undertaken in Auckland and completed in London. He then studied for his Fellowship in Dermatopathology in Warwick, England. Dermatopathology involves reviewing and interpreting skin biopsies and correlating with the patient’s clinical presentation. He has achieved accreditation in dermatopathology with the International Society of Dermatopathology and European Union of Medical Specialists. During his overseas training he has presented at regional, national and international meetings and has been published in international journals. He has specific interests in medical dermatology, skin cancer and surgery and male genital dermatology.
